JEDD's
Now that I've ''broken the code'', what can be done about it? I know that JEDD's take a considerable amount of time to come into being, but the way things are going with this current economic agreement, this is going to be drawn out forever as well.
Which brings up another point...when push comes to shove, the only real land left to develop is either swamp land or is residential, isn't it? So, am I correct in concluding that this whole agreement is about Violet just wanting to protect it's borders and having the City pay for infrastructre (roads/sewers)?
Shouldn't the mission of the City be to grow and move forward? This agreement stagnates growth---as a City grows, townships should grow smaller. Yes...the agreement says we'll share commercial tax revenues, but why do we technically have to share when we can just annex the land and we get the entire tax revenue? In my opinion, this agreement is just a smoke screen so the township doesn't get swallowed up by the City.
Please...if you can show me figures of how this will financially help the City, show me. I am not slamming anyone...just looking for answers.
