Who's lying?

It appears the Jeff is feeling the pain and some of his lies are coming back to haunt him. Didn't I read that Mr. Fix did in fact say that people at almost every house he visited during his campaign for office wanted an agreement between the city and the township? Didn't I hear take offs of that from Cristie, Heidi and Keith? Yet in the Dispatch article today Mr. Sabatino was on over 100 door steps this past month and no one mentioned that to him. Not only that, Mr. Sabatino got them to sign a petition and they are registered voters.

Doesn't it strike any of us as odd that out of 932 signatures none seem to hold an agreement between the city and the township as a high priority with their city government? Who's lying here?
Agree with who's lying

Collected signatures like Mr. Sabatino. Not one person said a thing about working with the township. If anything, many felt we need to start looking out for ourselves and just annex the township. Why give up annexing rights when we have the right to just take the land in a JEDD like they have done in many Cleveland/Akron areas? It should be the township that is willing to give up concessions;not visa versa.
Finally

Finally! Someone has broken the code! The township is virtually helpless against the city in annexation matters. And contrary to belief, the city doesn't have to provide services like water and sewer to annexed areas, those can be contracted out to other government agencies or to commercial enterprises.
I Agree as Well

I like Mr. Sabatino and By Anonymous collected signatures and not one of the 60+ people I personally spoke with ever mentioned a thing about working with the township, to the contrary they expressed more concerned about what was going on and gladly signed so that they would have a chance to review and decide for themselves what they thought was in their best interest. I now am waiting to see if certain members or council will allow the citizens the opportunity they are wanting and that is to vote on an issue that can impact them and the place they live.
