Has the township responded to the city re: the economic agreement? Or was the response the Lancaster/Canal MOU?

Yes they have

From my understanding, the Township responded, but had changes they wanted made to the agreement. Not sure what the changes are. Don't know why all the issues were not hammered out before the ordinance was pushing through Council. Makes no sense to me---something just isn't right about this whole thing.

Tomorrow's Council meeting should be interesting since it is the first one since the agreement was received back from the Trustees. Wish I could attend. Someone please fill us in on the details. I am sure the press will report on it, but if anyone goes, please post something.

Spin

My understanding is township wants to add that the agreement will be 50/50 after attorney's fees. There's another change, but the info was so vague, I'd rather not say. It had to do with expenses, whatever that means. Sounds like the city will pay cost of setting it up and then split 50/50. The previous poster is rught. After council, there'll be more info. We'll probably get to see the spin again on why this is so great.

You want to try to be optomistic, but how does this compare to the Canal-Lanc.-Tship. out of the sky blue agreement? Shouldn't somebdy have those details to post here?

Did you notice???

Did you notice that the township attorney said it was stupid for either entity to have agreed to, MUCH LESS voted on this agreement before the lawyers had a chance to hammer out the legal details?

So it seems we have seven stupid council members. Irregardless of their agreement or disagreement with the agreement, council should have refused to vote until legal blessing was bestowed by those super high priced shysters.

Hard to believe that the three stooges in the trustee seats can end up looking smarter than a coffee boy, a delivery boy, a computer guy and the four people running multi-billion dollar businesses.
