While we were sleeping

A Big Box a coming

Has the township found a way to dump a huge big b ox development into our laps? They have the partners in waiting ready to put 5,000 cars per day across from the North High School.
Consider this

Now as we all have seen in the new papers and Mr. Wisniewski?’s web site negotiations with the township have been going on for some time. Clearly they played Councilman Fix like a drum or he is incompetent.

Using Fix and his babe in the woods idealisms they convinced him that the City administrations for years were untrustworthy. They hammer out an agreement that will not be accepted by those that knew better and those actually did some research. They get Fix to push and convince a couple of air heads to support the agreement. I think deep down the trustees were surprised that Fix ?“delivered?” as he proudly states in his email to Weltlich and Mayor Jeff Miller in August which is posted on Mr. Wisniewski?’s web site. I think he said he delivered what he was, asked ?“to deliver. (by Miller and Weltlich)?”.

Funny even Mayor Shaver was out of the loop on this one.

What would have happened if the voters of Pickerington had allowed this development agreement to stand and become effective on February 1st.? The city would have been excluded from any JEDD outside the Pickerington school district, excluded from any JEDD in the CEDA area and excluded from any JEDD north of I-70. In addition, if there was opportunities on the City borders of Pickerington the city would have been restricted in negotiating with the property owners to annex without the permission of the trustees. None of these restrictions will be placed on either Lancaster or Canal Winchester. WHY???

ANSWER: They are not that stupid. They elected council to serve the city not their own political ambitions.

Question: How many signatures is it required to recall the trustees? Is there that many signatures in the City?

We got enough

I'm sure that is the same people who signed the referendum and initiative petitions signed recalls for SHAVER, RIGGS, FIX, SMITH, HAMMOND, WELTLICH, DUNLAP and MYERS we'd be well on the way to finally getting a new government representative of THE PEOPLE.
CONFUSED

From the most of the postings on this site, it seemed that Pickerington did not want an agreement with the Township. That was apparent when a Referendum was put into place. Now ''While We Were Sleeping, et al,'' are upset. Make up your minds which way you want it.
