That's sort of my point. Why rush to replace a superintendent that most people are happy with? There was no public outcry about the superintendent.

Why double up on salaries when there is no need? Or doubling up on benefits?

Don't forget, we're all paying for this.

As far as having open positions, such as Director of Curriculum, for many months, while at the same time paying two superintendents, that is not a cost saving.

In the business world that is called ''waste''.

Board members should know that. They keep telling us what good businesspeople they are.

Fixing What Ain't Broke?

Is the board clearing out the administrators at the top? Are they trying to fix an ''excellent'' school district?

Are they trying to make us ''effective'' or even lower? What's going on with all the openings at the top?

Or is it more like rats running off a sinking ship?

Thiede retired

I thought Dr. Thiede's retirement was his own decision, based on personal and professional reasons. I didn't hear anything about the school board trying to clean house.
