Broke
I can't afford to build my own stadium. I am still paying the debt off on the TWO stadiums at NORTH!! That my kids can't use.

Purpose
What was the point of your post, Any Mouse?
Can't you see that the parents, students and athletes that frequent Tiger Stadium are simply pointing out that this is little more than a sub-standard facilty?
Or are you simply happy to turn a blind eye to the problem like the rest of your school board pals?

Questions & Answers
Q - How much does a new stadium cost? Where would it be built?
A - You're putting the cart before the horse. See answers to other questions first.
Q - Does the district have that much money?
A - Not in the least. However, you might rephrase the question this way ... If there are any leftover funds from the 3 new schools currently being built, how would the District spend those excess funds? The November 2006 bond ballot language was written such that the District can choose how and where to use any leftover monies ... including investing for future use.
Q - Should we petition to have a Bond Issue for Athletic Facitilies put on the Ballot?
A - You'll have to wait a bit. The public funding focus of the Board for the next 2 years includes a 5.0 mill levy (expires December 2007) and a 7.9 mill levy (expires December 2008).
Q - What are next steps besides posting here?
A - If you're serious about opening a dialogue with the District, then make an appointment with the Superintendent.
