Park impact fees are used for park land purchases which this is a part of.

Impact fees are specifically collected and placed into accounts by category. Some goes to police, some goes to parks, some goes to roads, etc.

This is just cashing one check from one fund.

Seems to me we can't even take care of the parks we have.
Don't those need improvements?
Say what you will, but the Groveport pool is now a big trash can with a fence around it.
Columbus pools last summer were closed much of the time due to staffing and money troubles.
So you buy it.
It costs money to operate it.
Where's that money?
User fees?
It would stay private if that were the case.

Instead of yapping about things and complaining why don't you call the acting city manager and talk to him about it?

You're complaining because you have no facts and you think the city hasn't done their due-diligence. I think otherwise.
