Buying a Swimming pool?

Posted in: PATA
Funny

I know lots of people that went to the ''Groveport trash can'' this past summer and had a great time there!
My opinion

I don't have to call the city manager.
I don't think government should be in private enterprise.
You THINK otherwise implies YOU DON''T KNOW.
Show me anywhere investing in a swimmimng pool at this time is prudent.
If it's so profitable, why is it for sale?
I am refering to the defunct swimmimg hole at Hendron and Main.
See all the advertising the Groveport Complex has been spending money on?
What did that cost taxpayers?
What's the debt?
This is a mistake.
You call my postings yapping.
And yet you offer no facts.
I call your postings a pitiful attempt to justify wasting money.

I'm with LIB

I thought Sanders campaigned on a joint parks district/ rec center? Doesn't that would mean the township could help pay for this purchase? Or do they get a pass again? Is this in some kind of a master plan? Can't be, without the city and township working together. And there isn't any joint parks plan. If the area truly wants a rec center, will that include a pool? And won't all in the area help pay for it? Will we then need 2 pools? Why doesn't Sanders put a plan together? Sorry, Anonymous. You can't have cooperation without the township participating.

And another thing...Anonymous

Anonymous, you title one of your postings ''Don't be a fool'' implyng the other poster is. Then you tell them they are yapping. It really is unflattering and doesn't help the pro pool side of your argument in anyway, so I would try to use some restraint. Thank you.
