You lose

Here is another example of no guts no glory. It was in the southeast messenger that they would have three readings Tuesday and still no one objected to the purchase. It was passed unanimously. No need to wait for the minutes. That means everyone on council voted for it. It has been discussed on this web site for over a week now and you still had something else to do. Give me a break!!! You had nothing but some whining about not getting a new pool and nothing beyond that. You just want to raise a sink but don't have the guts to go into council and ask the questions that seem to be on your mind. Maybe it is simply a case of being lazy.

From what I read they needed to expedite this purchase so they had the three readings. Nothing more nothing less. So get over it. You snooze you lose.

As I am sure council would like to be setting goals for the upcoming year, please offer your suggesitons on what you think they should be working on.

You are against no-cost recreation facilities so skip over that.

Be specific. I am sure most or all of them read this. Tell council what you want them to do.

It also wouldn't hurt if you signed your name to give just an ounce of credibility to your thoughts.

Not buying it

Sorry, but I believe that most of the local papers that reported on the proposed purchase explicitely stated the desire was to have 3 readings in one night on it.
