I see the city has come up with the same red light cameras as Columbus to help with the safety of the major intersections of the city. Hopfully they will double the fines for those living outside our city limits.

Those are not red-light cameras, they are for the new light system to help with traffic flow.

Red light camera's needed

Can anyone think of a place that needs red light cameras more that Pickerington?

Drivers blazing through red lights or parking their butts in the middle of intersections to make a left turn long after a light has turned green for opposing traffic seems to be all the rage in our city.

Can't blame the cops... they're doing their best to nab these fools. Perhaps a few startegically placed cameras; Refugee and Hill Road, 256 and 204... just to name a few places.
