If you would have attended the hearing about a single hauler option back in 1996, you would know why the trustees opted not to impose that option. The room was full of ''Choice'' advocates with very loud voices.

Happy with choice

We actually did have Waste Mgt at one point & weren't all that jazzed with the service.

We are happy with our current provider & happy we have a choice about it.

Ladies, do you both know how foolish you sound willing pay up to twice of those in the city for trash pickup all for the sake of a choice. None of those choices are cheaper and are better that what the city people get. I will bet you must take your can to the street just like us and they pick it up the day they say they will. I can't remember Waste Management ever missing us and they have always been here the day they say they will. I really can't see how one company could de better than another one considering what they are doing. As long as they are here on Friday like they promise what is the issue?

Maybe I am a tight wad and enjoy getting the best price for a service. I certainly will find something better than trash pick up to spend my $145 per year I save over the township pickup.

I have a high school friend that runs the waste management service department and I will call her and tell her you folks don't mind paying more and she should see just how much more you will pay.
