Have a Solid Strategy
We need to have a solid strategy behind this effort & it will be successful. With the recent referenda my first thought was to do petitions on everything we could - thinking it through we picked judiciously & I believe maintained a lot of credibility in doing so. This can be a very emotional issue for a lot of people.
All would be great but you NEED the mayor & 3 others. Make sure you can achieve successfully what you start & be thourough - the signatures are the easy part.

Recall three
I agree with Lisa. The three should be Fox, Parker, and Maxey. All three are tied in very close to the developers and all three were at ground zero in the recent annexations and rezonings. Parker and Maxey approved the projects through the SERVICE committee. The voters couldn't decide which to oust but picked Maxey. Fox was the person that put Maxey back on the COUNCIL. You would have your best shot with these three because the voters just told you they disagree with the policies that these three have promoted over the last three years. Now you would be giving the voters the chance to carry that anger with these three directly to them.
The fears that the city can't operate would be supressed as well. With four candidates left the city could conduct their business and they couldn't pass anything without David Shaver voting in favor of it. A super minority so to speak.
Please if you are going to do this you should take Lisa's advice. Think it out first. Remove your emotions and put yourself in the position of the Pickerington City voter and what this vote will mean to them.

Great Points, discussion begins
Thank you for responding. Yes, I TOTALLY agree. We do not want to do this half (bleep). This cannot be an emotional issue, however it is passionate. We all do feel strongly about this. That aside, let's get together off line to set up a meeting to discuss this further. We might want to consider ousting Randy too. Surely an interim mayor can ''operate'' the city at least as ''well'' as Randy. After the recall, the first action would be to oust Joyce Bushman. I am sensitive to the reamining city employees and do not want to get them involved in this. Almost all have done a fine job and deserve to keep their jobs. That is not our issue now. A great of them have gone along with this administration in fear of losing their jobs. This is my suggestion: Let's get together this week to go over this in more detail. This may be a risk, however I am going to put our phone number down. It is more of a risk to lose the future for our community. My phone is 920-3648. Anyone who is interested, give me a call and we will orchestrate a meeting and develop a strategy. I am also going to develop an email just for this. TBA. More later. I will be at the meeting this Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at 7:30 of the Fairfield County Republican Club. Pull me aside and join the effort. Thanks again everyone. We can do this. God Bless America.

A Few more thoughts
Bear in mind if we recall three or four, Randy Maxey, Parker and Fox, that still leaves remaining Postage, Moneybrake and Wright. They could and would vote in those guys again anyway. I suggest more than just Randy and 3. Make sense?
