Collect signatures on them all

You are not required to file all of your recall petitions at once. Go out and get the six councilmen and one mayor recall petitions signed by at least 471 registered voters. File the three councilmen and one mayor. If you have four remaining councilmen then David will control the votes. It takes FOUR votes to pass anything the other three can't pass gas without David Shaver voting with them. So they must find some one that David will vote for. Otherwise if they stall David you submit the remaining petitons. Seems simple to me.

You will be as bad as Doug Parker if you go out & ask registered voters to recall all the Councilmen & then decide later what ''you'' will really do - that is NOT your decision to make if you ask everyone to support to recall all of the Councilmen then you need to follow through.

That is your obligation. That is also why you need to think it through ahead of time & not go off half-cocked.

You need to present a package that is BETTER than what we have not a different set of people that will ''Do what they are elected to do'' - before they are even elected.

Do that & your credibility is gone.

If going for all of them is right then do it & file all of them. If you don't want to do it all at once then you need to do it in 2 phases - meaning two phases of collecting signatures. Anything circulated needs to be turned in.

Lisa: Thanks for offering our opinion. This will all be done with class and purpose. We will be leaveraging everyone's talents to identify, select and run candidates after the recall. This will all be a part of the discussion. This is by no means, just shifting power from one entity, this is about giving the representative back to people who will actually listen to the people who voted them. The worst thing we can do is to replace a nonresponsive government with another.
