Realtors should like this one
Gee, if the demand is there and there are fewer homes to fill the demand, my home will be worth more, my realtor would get a higher commission on the sale of my home. My home will not have to compete with all the new builds in a similar price range.
Does this man work for the CBR or does he work for the BIA. Last time I looked, most realtors are in the business for resale homes, not new builds. I think his words and actions of the CBR executives are going to hurt local realtors. Did these people even talk to local realtors about what they think.
If I was a betting man, I'd say the local realtors are none too happy about the degradation of our schools, their number one selling point, now we are looking at OUR SCHOOLS BEING ''TOAST'' according to some board members, if the levy does not pass. These realtors don't sell Toast do they, they sell the 26 of 26 State Standards, championship band and sports teams, rigorous academic. Now these are toast or soon will be.
If I was a local realtor, I would actively pursue removal of these people from their positions. They are inflaming the community sentiment towards realtors by saying that everything else but uncontrolled building is the problem here. They even have the nerve to say more buildin is part of the solution to the problem! Most local realtors live here, unlike these CBR pundits, they know the score and right now the score is not going in their favor, and it is going to get worse. WE are their customers too, they do not need these know all city statistic regurgitators representing their industry.
CBR execs.... go to work for the BIA, or better yet become employees of the city manager, who seems to be allowed to work for herself and the BIA interests and not the taxpayers. All your statistics are right from her conference call, they are wrong when viewed in context of the true real estate market here and the city of Pickerington is not the only market in the Pickerington area.
