And More BS from Rigelman!!

Hey, Bruce ?… what about the board minutes on the PLSD website? Like I said, the link is just like your performance on the board ?… non-working, all show and all BS.

Don?’t you think PATA members and taxpayers are more interested in controlling growth, keeping our schools excellent, and the all-day kindergarten structure than your spewing about alleged ?‘libelous letters?’ four years ago, your imaginary ?‘libelous?’ phone calls, boycotts, armed-masked marauders and pick-up trucks? (By the by, Bruce, you forgot to mention the color of the pick up truck ... I have read here on this website it is black so the story goes)

Are you trying to tell me (all of us) that in a $60 million operation with 800 employees, you need to find someone who knows how to maintain a web site? Maybe a quick call to the Violet Township Trustees and their outstanding website administrator may be willing to do it FREE OF CHARGE, Bruce! Do you want to call them or shall I do it for you? Do you have their phone number?

Bruce, you wrote on this website on March 23 that ?‘board established a finance committee' ?… now you are saying it is a committee of the school district, not the school board, and thus are not subject to the Ohio sunshine law. Which time were you lying to us this on this one, Bruce?

And, Bruce, if I were you, I would stop the BS and take your own ?‘medicine?’ to become a better person.

P.S. The press and the letters to the editors have been awful to you and the board majority over the last year. Maybe you should tell ALL of YOUR SUPPORTERS to attend tomorrow's board meeting and defend yours and Oakes' integrity and record of 'accomplishment.' Bob, Lisa, Dave, Mitch, Mary, Mike, Bill and Brian (sorry I left out Dr. Pepper or did I?) may want to speak up, now that your 'record' is being tarnished.

Mark keep it up man

Mark,

I just want to encourage you to keep posting here on the site, it gives everyone the oppourtunity to know what you are really about. Those of us with high speed access to the net can scroll back many postings ago quickly and easily to review your record. Nobody is being fooled. (I am sure you will launch on that statement now won't you)

You may have some good things to say but the manner in which they are being said is clearly up for debate to all who read this forum. Most have decided to ignore your diatribe, and not respond. Sure they read it but choose not to respond lest you lose your fateful lightning upon them.

I will ask Dr. Rigelman to once again ignore you even though you have angered him. I would like him to move on and continue to present information here, and to answer my Kindergarten question about whether anybody will consider using some of the donation money to maintain half day kindergarten.
Point well taken

Your point is well taken.

As to kindergarten, we need to see real evidence that all day, every other day kindergarten is educationally inferior to half day, every day kindergarten. So far, we have not seen any. To the contrary, I can think of many reasons why keeping kindergarteners in school all day is better.

I am hoping that this will be the first step to all day, every day kindergarten for everyone, when we can afford to hire the additional teachers. My oldest daughter attended kindergarten under such a program in Virginia, where we are from, and it gave her a real head start through the first several grades. She actually learned to read in kindergarten, in a small country school in rural Virginia.
