Everyone Booed Gail Oakes!!!

With all due respect, it was Gail Oakes who was loudly booed on Monday evening by a thousand residents in Pickerington. It was Gail Oakes who was shown on TV news stations throughout Ohio being booed by her citizens. It was Gail Oakes who it was reported in a front page article of the Dispatch on Tuesday being booed by Pickerington residents. It was Gail Oakes who was out of touch with the community and viewed as harming the education of our kids.

Brian, instead of calling Kinkos, why didn't you call the Ohio Ethics Commission to find out if it was legal for a board member to 'profit' from donations of groups she oversees as an elected official. You know there are laws here in Ohio.

I take it neither of you read my posting about violations of the Open Meeting Act, and Gail Oakes priceless comments in the newspapers that she would not have attended an illegal meeting if she would have known it was illegal.

Political campaign experts have suggested to me that I get a audio tape of the meeting and air 15 second radio commercials of everyone booing Gail Oakes when she runs for re-election. I told them that wasn't necessary ... no one would have to lift a finger to defeat Gail Oakes ... she is defeated by the community already (except for six or seven folks on this website).

Lisa, I would encourage to practice what you preach, and take YOUR personal attacks offline.

Many in this community including most elected officials are upset with your actions with CommUNITY First and view CommUNITY First as an extensive of PATA's efforts. They believe you got several in trouble with violation of the Sunshine Laws as was reported on February 19, 2003 in the Pickerington Times Sun. You may want to revise that subject again and explain why the public was excluded from the meetings.

Lisa, I received an extensive e-mail following your conversation with Bruce Rigelman, Dave Shaver and our State Representative where you called community leaders nasty names and made personal attacks on school board members & citizens in this community on April 6, 2003 following your CommUNITY First meeting at the Junior High School. The person was in absolute shock over they witnessed following the meeting by you, and has urged a total boycott of future meetings. They did, however, praise the outstanding and noble effort of Sara Rose and will be supportive of all efforts of Sara. If you would like me to forward you the e-mail, please e-mail me, Lisa, and we can discuss further offline. I would publish the e-mail here, but do not want to out of respect to the elected officials including school board members you attacked personally.

And, as to the Pickerington Library, I spoke this evening with a member of the Board of Directors and he did not ever recall honoring Dan & Gail Oakes. He then laughed and said given her reputation in the community now no such honor would ever be forthcoming from the Library.

Not all were booing

I hate to burst your bubble big boy but they were not all on your side there at the board meeting the other night. I sat next to three teachers and they were not happy with you or the antics your teenagers were pulling. In fact they said the place should be cleared. When any adult brings in emotional teenagers and their parents to intimidate elected officals is a very dangerous situation. With a packed room like that there could have been a riot but you and your thugs never think about that.



From our vantage point we could tell where you were because of your bald spot and in total contrast to the young people sitting around you. Clearly you and your booster friends staged this event now you seem to think that everyone there was on your side. Go ahead and think that. Go into this levy campaign thinking that you have trashed Gail Oakes and you are home free. Keep on thinking that everyone is on your side. You are showing us all here on this site your crudeness and total disregard of anyone else and their opinions. I am sure you will lose more votes with your own words displayed here on this site.

Just a few days ago you said you got 52 e-mails from people looking at his site but tonight there are only 6 or 7 people. Which is it Mark 50 or 60 people or 7? The fact is you have no idea of what you are talking about and that shows right here on this site.

It also shows that Gail was right because if you bother to check out ''OUR'' pages to your left there are strings attached to your $600,000. In fact there is only $375,000 and it is only promised like the land for the school down in Sycamore Creek area. It is interesting to note that they sent this letter to Mrs. Sanders and wasn't she the one that was suprised the developer renenged on that land?

You are showing us all that you and the boosters are only show. Smoke and mirrors won't resolve this problem we have here in Pickerington. Mark you are part of the problem along with your inflated ego.

I understand that you are divorced and that is all public record. Would it be approperiate for members of this community to display what your ex-wife had to say about you? No matter how low you go with your disgusting allegations I think the 6 or 7 people you claim support Gail Oakes do have class and ethics. Mark a quality that you have yet to aquire.
