100% agree

It's this type of mentality that the posters who suggest volunteering is the solution display that cause our subdivision harm. The fact is the entrances are common space. The fact is common space should be controleld by the HOA. That simple.

Our entrance look like a joke and I guarantee it's one reason that houses have a hard time selling. It behooves everyone to create an entrance that represents our subdivision with class. Not only do you feel pride in seeing a beautiful entrance everyday it will increase home values as well. Basically it more than pays for itself. I wish people would understand concepts as simple as this.

Indeed. Volunteering is the only way to go. If you choose not to volunteer, you give up the right to complain. By utilizing volunteers, we get people who actually live here and (hopefully) care about the sud-division. If you hire it done, you get people who are in it for the money and have no personal involvement in the sub-division. This is simple logic!! If you are so concerned that your opinion be included, volunteer!! Otherwise, find another cause to complain about....

I agree! It's the trouble makers who whine and complain. Instead of joining in, they sit back and bitch about being left out, but do nothing to get involved. What group of people would be better to maintain the entrances than those who live here!! Give me a break!

As for hurt feelings...please! What are we? A bunch of 3 year olds. How can your ''feelings'' be hurt over such an insignificant issue? Do you really take things such as this so personnaly? Get a life! There are many more concerning things in life. Grab a meaningful cause and throw all of your emmotions into that. Then you can talk about feelings!!! Afterall, it's just a few flowers - if we don't like them, they can be replaced next year!!!
