It obviously was not so 'obvious' to you. I did not call someone a moron to steer the conversation away from the real topic. I DID volunteer and was never contacted. I signed up on those sheets. Yet, we are criticized for not volunteering. That is what the problem is that I am getting real tired of. I am tired of the criticism that 'nobody ever cares; nobody volunteers.' That is plain bull and I am tired of it. I don't feel guilty that I haven't done anything to benefit the neighborhood. I am embarrased that the trustees agree to form committees, ask us to sign up, and then never contact the person who agreed to run the committee. If you want to disregard my comment, maybe it is because you don't want a committee formed. Is that it?

There is a difference

between whining and giving an opinion. People should be able to give opinions without being told 'if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.' It sounded like the person was just trying to be funny at the end. Lighten up. I am sure someone likes that entrance because it has looked like that for a few years. Obviously someone gave approval for that entrance to look the same way two years ago. They must have liked it the first year. If we all had the same likes, all of our yards would have the same landscaping. I do not care for that entrance either, but it is my opinion. Maybe a survey would help? The trustees can put a question on the website and let us answer it.
