Does this mean that if we got paid already and did not get paid to the street centerline we will receive another check from them?
Do you know how many signatures they need at this point?

Why doesn't Carrizo notify the residents of that in writing and let the know how many signatures are needed and when the checks will be mailed? What of the people that live on corners? Perhaps if in writing more people would be likely to sign, especially since there have been so many he said/she saids that have turned out to be fallacies, if in writing, it's harder to manipulate their way out of it. |

OK. I will answer this to the best of my ability. Carrizo's representatives met with RTHA officers last week. Carrizo has taken over the leaseing from Cheaha. Carrizo has a few in-house land men. They will be finishing up our neighborhood. There are about 260 lots left to lease. That is reletatively few since we have over 1500 lots. They have to have enough leases to put a drill bore under our neighborhood without drilling through an unleased lot. Actually they could start drilling with about 20 additional lots IF they are the RIGHT lots. Everyone will get an extra check for the street measurment. They will send these check our very soon. Corner lots, culdesacs, etc. will be measured accurately. Texas being a non-disclosure state does not require a written decleration of payment. They are not trying to get out of paying anyone. They just need more leases to be able to move forward and obtain a drilling permit. Carrizo is building a database of the remaining properties to be leased. There will be a mailout very soon. A big part of the problem is that most of the unsigned lots are either vacant, rent houses, or non-english residents. Some people just do not know, do not care, or do not understand. RTHA has agreed to help in any way that we can. We are currently the main contact for anyone that wants to speak to a leasing representative. So, to get the ball rolling and the money coming, tell all your neighbors that need a lease to contact RTHA.
