Is it Jenni or  Melissa,  I get the two confused.  Jenni always seems to backup you up Melissa right after you post.  And really,  I don't care.  I am just commenting on that fact.    I do not agree with your comments or actions regarding Candy-o.  It is not your right.  You are on the HOA Board and should not have the right,  the authority or the control of this forum.  It is a conflict of interest.  You just now started to help Candy-o after months of her telling everyone her concerns so don't make it sound like you are the savior here.  Your job now that you elected to be sworn in is to listen to residents concerns whether you like them,  like how they are said,  like what is being said or the tone.  I have a huge issue with your comments and your control methods on this forum.   You take away Candy-O's rights,  you can pretty much be assured that I won't take part in the HOA anymore nor will my neighbors.   Because it is a joke.   I do not like conformity nor anyone telling me I have too conform and you pretty much are dictating what can and can not be said on this forum and it disguts me.  You should not run a office or hold a postion and be biased.

What harm is Candy-O doing?  Tell me?  How many people (your friends,  HOA Members)  called and complained?  Really.  You expect us to believe that?  Isn't it that you just don't like having a rebel on your board against the HOA....true or false?  Your actions are proving that to be a true statement.

And Jenni,  you have made statements on this board that weren't so white and shining as well so don't act like you are above Candy-O or anyone else because your not.  In the end,  we are all human and nothing more.

Yes, I have made statements on this board.  My statements though, have never been rude or aggressive.  Recently, I did post a comment that could have been viewed as negative and I immediately apologized for it.

My previous post was not directed towards candy_o.  I was trying to make the point that it is the tone and not the content of a post that is at hand.  That applies to me, as well as everyone else.

While I do agree with some of the things that Melissa states, I also agree with many points that you and others make.  I am not her "yes" man, or anyones for that matter.  My previous post does not reflect on what someone has said, only on how it was said.  How is this acting like I am above candy_o or anyone else?  If I sound pretentious, I apologize.  My husband tells me that I tend to speak and write like I am.  I was an English major in college and I think that it stems from that.  Enough of the tangent...bottom line, I would love to live in a community where we looked out for each other and helped each other.  I know this is naive of me, but that is why I make the posts I do.  They are not out of aggression or opposition.  I am fortunate to be surrounded by neighbors that are also my friends and I wish the rest of River Trails could experience this as well.  I am truly blessed.

If the HOA is unable to help candy_o then maybe her neighbors (all of us) could see what we can do to help.  Interested candy_o in some help from your neighbors?

Jenni,  I agree that sometimes the posts seem to take an offensive tone.  I think that when people ask questions over and over and never get answers,  it get frustrating.    I also apologize for my comments.  I am also fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful neighbors.  I can't imagine moving away from them.  But it is my neighbors that keep me here,  not the HOA or what the HOA has done for me and my family.  That is what makes a community strong,  is the willing to help others.  I hear a lot from other families who don't even know there next door neighbor.  That's a shame.  There are times when we all could use a helping hand.   Candy-O,  I am in too to help.  If you need for us to come over and help take down the fence and clean up behind your house,  please let us know and let's put a crew together and help out.

Thanks Jenni for your post!

That would be wonderful, we could maybe heat the pool, have a cookout(ride some 4-wheelers) sound like the community I moved into 9 years ago.   Let me know when.
