Laurie, my kids have been going there from the day they opened until now and I have never received a survey. Why? I dont know. I have walked my first child to her class every day from 1st grade to 6th. I have walked my second child because they wanted me too until they told me they didn't want me to anymore. Believe me, it is great to drop them off at the sidewalk now. But it is my choice as a parent to decide whether or not I walk them to class - not the schools. If there are other parents hanging around in the halls - address them - not those who leave promptly before the bell rings. I have never seen children running around chaotic in the hallways. They are usually with the parents walking them to class. You know as well as I do, they dont let you run around in the halls. They have hall monitors that prevent that from happening. The kids can't even get rowdy or talk loud in the cafetaria or gym. I know, I have been there. Maybe not a big deal to you - so be it - but again it is to me as a parent and it is to my child. Obviously you have a complaint about extended day care. Mine do not attend so I do not have an opinion. Again, you are a parent and what you see as a concern is your own right - same as mine. Don't take away privledges to those who are obeying the rules because there are other parents who don't. Fix the traffic problem outside and leave parenting to parents.
