Well,  I guess it's easier to build a fire station then it is to widen the roads....this way the trucks don't have to turn left or right over that bridge.   How far away is the other fire station?  Less than 5 miles.  Why are they building another one right there?  Seems to me,  widening the roads with or without the new fire house would have been the practical thing to do.   

I think we were assigned the fire station in Hurst on Precinct Line which is about two miles north.  Since I think everything south of Trinity is in Fort Worth, they probably felt the new construction east of Precinct Line Road was going to overwhelm the Hurst Fire Station. I even think the fire station in question might be relocated to Pipeline Road.

I noticed the bridge on Trinity has a plaque on it with TARRANT COUNTY WPA along with the county commisioners' names which is rather interesting.  I know the WPA built the Hurst School on Highway 10/Business 183 east toward Euless.

The Fort Worth Fire Dept. services our area....trust me, I know that for sure!  They came to my home not too long ago!!

So will the new Fire House be Fort Worth?  I am glad that we will have one closer and that will service all the new homes being built.
