SQUAW PEAK NATURE HIKE-- Come and enjoy a 1.5 to 2 mile hike led by a Phoenix park ranger through the Sonoran desert. A short presentation will be given on the desert plants and animals in the area. The trail is relatively flat and would be great for beginning hikers. All ages are welcome but parking is limited. Bring your own drinking water. 1 p.m. Location: Squaw Peak Park - 2701 E. Squaw Peak Dr. (the park entrance is off Glendale Rd. just east of Hwy. 51, meet at the north end of the park - Apache area). Parking is limited. Maximum Participants: 20. Free.
