yes - my dreams are answeredq

Posted in: Historic Old Northeast
Three years ago I purchased a home on 22nd Ave. I knew there was alot of traffic but the asking price was within my budget. It is much busier and nosier than my husband and I ever thought it would be. And, now that we are thinking of having children, I thought we would have to move. But then I began reading about the wonderful concern the new board President has for those who live by Watson's.

I had approached the past President about a plan to reduce traffic on 22nd Ave. He brushed me off like I was crazy. I know that Greg and the board won't leave me stranded.

Here's my plan. Why not make 22nd a one way street running east toward the bay, and make 21st a one way street running east. It would be great. People on 22nd would have peace and quiet and even more valuable property.

22nd Ave home oweners unite. I'd like to hear from other home owners on 22nd.

Sadness near 4th St.

I too, bought a home within my budget only to find it is too close to that English Pub. On weekend nights is put plugs in my ears and still cannot sleep. I spoke with the previous board and was told nothing could be done. My prays have now been answered. Thank God and the wonderful association! Can you help me too?

I suspect you are one and the same people and you know that nothing can be done about either problem by the board or its president- no matter who the president is
