Since time is running out before the next regularly scheduled board meeting and my privately scheduled meeting, I have decided to quit fooling around as much and lay out some more information while I have the time.

For the last month or so it has been on my mind to list the names of the good folks who gathered at the June general membership meeting and began the barrage, excuse me, I mean highly motivated discussion as to my merits and qualifications for me to be anything in North Shore.

Of the thirty one folks who discussed my value to North Shore in a very public debate, almost like I was'nt even there, I can only remember those listed below. Yes these are some of the 31 Stop CVS'ers who voted to have me removed.

I just thought that since we have not had a newsletter since June that the only way for me to keep you all informed is to post it right here.

Let' see, who was there to vote me out,

Edward Cauldwell

Cynthia Serra

Jane Phair

Don Strobel

Jim Martin

Kathy Martin

Marc Woodley

Mike Dailey

Gemma O'Donnell

Jim O'Donnell

Jackie Guensler

Arlene Bartley

Mr. Bartley

Susan Ribillot

Carl Luvgren

Allison ??????

and last but not least

Charlotte Saunders (who has since moved out of the neighborhood.)

I wish I could remember the rest of the folks but as you can immagine my head was whirling about with what everyone had said and the surprise vote and all. Sooooooo, if any of you know any additional names that should be on this list I would be interested in having them added here. Also, in the name of absolute fairness, if I listed someone here who does not belong on this list, please except my most humblest apologies, in advance. Just post me a note and I will make an immediate retraction. Just like the St.Petersburg Times does.

Oh, one last note. Greg Burton was at this meeting but ducked out the Back door just before Gemma stood up, without being called on mind you, and began to say, ''I want to make a motion, I move that Steve Lange be removed as President of North Shore, blah, blah, blah, you all know the rest. Well, Greg slipped out the back before it got hot and heavy. After all he was just trying to stay sqeaky clean and above all the dirty work which he conveniently left for the others to do.

Steve, here is one more name to add to your list of the 31 who voted against you. My name,Steve Deal. I am not a Stop CVS'er. I am all for the CVS store coming to 4th street. I have live in our neighborhood for the past 71/2 years. I was thrilled to live in a neighborhood with such a strong association. I voluntered many times for many committies that you and your wife so desperately said you needed help with. I was never called. Finally one of my neighbors told me not to bother. Since I was not one of your croonies, I would never be asked to help. So true was that statement. I finally stopped volunteering. For the past 7 1/2 years I have had to listen to your mouth continuously at our meetings. I was glad to hear people speak out so honestly about how so many of us have felt for so many years. As I said, CVS had nothing to do with my vote. Your arrogant personality and lack of respect for so many of our good neighbors is why I cast my vote for your removal. I have been following our Web site and am quite disgusted by so many sad statements from people in our neighborhood, especially Frankly and Stella. They think they are fooling people with their false names. We know who they are and are very disappointed in their actions. I hope one day our association will be back to normal and continue the good work to help our community. As far as I am concerned, we are the #1 neighborhood of St.Pete. Thats why I chose to buy my home here. So please add my name to your list. Not ashamed to sign my real name unlike so many others. Steve Deal

NOT CVS

Mr. Lange, you have said several times that CVS was your down fall. I do not believe that is the case. It is believed that you have an arrogant personality along with a lack of respect for Noth Shore members. It also said that you have done good for the North Shore, but running meetings is not your forte. I hope you continue as a member of the North Shore, but not with a vendictive attitude.

Leadership, Judgement, etc.

Steve, your inability to remember the other 14 names is a symptom of your leadership talent. I'm not saying it isn't difficult to be able to remember names, but I am saying that it is a sure sign of great leadership.

While I was at that meeting, I left at 9 with a splitting headache and a feeling of dismay. If I had known there would be a motion to remove you, I would have stayed to vote for it. On the other hand, if I had known you would publish the names of the voters on a website without their permission, I would not have voted.

Since you are new to the internet, you may not have become familiar with all the facets of the privacy issue. But you seem to be gaining internet expertise and confidence daily. I have read all of your postings with great interest. They are a wonderful testament to your judgement and genuine concern for your neighbors.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Arnold
