How many other residents have received the never ending flow of pety letters of ''We conducted an inpection'' or ''It was reported to us''? HOA is supposed to serve the residents not rule over and threaten them. Get off the power trip. Calm down HOA and just do the job. We will appreciate you more if you serve the community. Thanks

HOA doing their job?

I thought that was supposed to be their job. To go around and make sure everything is on the up and up. Most neighborhoods have HOA's for one main purpose... to help mantain the neighborhoods property value. That is usually done by them driving around and inspecting the area to make sure neighbors don't violate rules that would make our neighborhood look like crap.
For instance, neighbors that do not take care of their yards. Those that have broke down cars that don't run on the street. Big pools of oil left behind on driveways and streets by cars that need to be fixed. I'm sure you can think of some things that you've seen by other neighbors.
When you bought your home here at Bridgewood you fully understood this neighborhood has a mandatory HOA. You should have done your research of what that HOA's rules & regulations (RR) consist of before buying here. If you didn't like their RR then you had the freedom to continue looking elsewhere and pass up this neighborhood. If you were served violation letters then obviously you have done/ or not done something that violated the RR. Do the right thing about it and help protect our property value.
Make some suggestions as to how the HOA can better serve our community. As far as I'm concerned they are better serving our community by making sure other neighbors are not violating the RR. Lets all do our part by keeping things in order then lets discuss what they can do for the neighbor that can benefit us all.
No, I do not work for the HOA. I'm just a tired neighbor just like yourself coming home and looking at other homes that looks like it belongs on Guadalupe St.

Wake up!

Sorry to hear that your street resebles Guadalupe street. The area I live in is nice and so are the neighbors. They have all received the petty letters. If you have a problem with your neighbors why don't you talk to them like an adult. The HOA can't solve all your problems for you. The RR are there for us. We certainly don't need them making more rules as they go along because you won't resolve problems with your neighbors. Sorry if you did'nt like my opinion. You can go to the Bridgewood site and badmouth and argue with your neighbors there if you like. I have been there and it all seems so arrogant and petty.
The discussion board should be called the bashing board. Its full of snide remarks, bickering and a holier than thou attitude. I will always give you my opinion but if you are looking to argue your out of luck.
