No I don't. I think the gate might give some a false sense of security, but that's all. We have a percentage of "these people" as residents, all neighborhoods do. We even have some of this type of behavior just like every other neighborhood. The gate doesn't prevent crime, the only thing it prevents is ticketing of motorists that put the neighborhood's children at risk of injury or death from speeding and wreckless driving. I bet the camers would show lots of vehicles following other vehicles in after they open the gate, and coming in the outbound gate after someong leaves. Let's not forget the twice a day the gate remains open for an extended period of time for people going and returning from work and school. Still, I doubt the gate will come down. We'll just have to see what comes out of the next meeting.
