Pass a Flyer
No one reads this sight except ''friends'' of Bartel, Russolillo and Hellwege or the ''establishment''. They have done nothing for years. Do you think they are going to get them in trouble?
One residents said he was told if he payed $200.00, he could build anything he wanted. He was on the list I gave to Carl Booth. I tried to help him. This resident is now a suck up to the establishment because no one would help the residents who were scammed and he saw I wasn't getting anywhere on my own.
There were a dozen people on the list. They aren't going to come to you. They know who your friends are. They were afraid and still are.
You don't get out much with the biggest precentage of residents. They aren't going to trust telling you anything and you tell people who intimidate them. You didn't help when I brought up problems at council. You wouldn't okay anything to be checked into.
Employee's withholding tax was stolen. The taxpayers paid their salary. Part of that was to go to I.R.S. and Pension funds. It was not done. The taxpayers had to pay AGAIN for the employees. How can you say the taxpayers were not harmed? This money was not to pay something else. It was withheld from wages to pay in for the employees.
What would you think if your employer did this? They say we used it for something else, you will have to pay it AGAIN!
There was a resolution to borrow $45,000 to pay the I.R.S. because the money had been ''used'' for something else. With the Village debt, no bank would do this. There was $23,000 to P.E.R.S, $18,000 for Ohio Police and Fire. Total $86,000. Plus not paying the bills. This money was there and then ''used'' for something else. The taxpayers had to pay AGAIN!
You wanted to make a deal to settle for less. Your statment is on record. How can you say you work for the best interest of the taxpayers?
This money was not there when I took office and Watkins had the nerve to tell people and libel me on the website that I pocketed the money and took care of my friends! And you further state that you can trust Watkins?
Your perception of honesty and trust is different from mine. With your defense of them, you only strengthen my resolve to make these people pay.

Who Ever They Are?
I will not pass out a flyer but in the next newsletter I will put a notice. That does not change the fact that unless it is in writing I cannot pursue the matter. It must be from the parties involved.
Ms. White, I completely agree with you that the money that should have gone to the IRS and PERS should not have been used for any other purpose than what it was meant to pay.
Maybe as the former Finance Committee Chair you can explain what happened to the $10,000 check that was sent to the IRS that a stop payment was placed on. The check was sent to the IRS but never cashed, so how was it stolen? The Check NEVER cleared the Village's account and when the stop payment was placed on it the money returned to the Village Accounts. Why did that money than not be sent again to the IRS? Maybe as the Finance Chair you can explain that since it was under your watch.
As to a resolution for a bank loan that resolution was NEVER brought before Council and at the time I brought to the attention of Council that the Village COULD NOT legally get a loan to pay the IRS. I did not support getting a loan and I specifically stated that it was illegal.
The ''deal'' that you are referring to was to accept reponsibility for all of the parties involved. As I have stated there are more than three people at fault for the IRS and PERS debt. The Councils that provided NO oversight also are responsible.
Under your watch the Money that was sent to the IRS was used for something other than the IRS debt when that check was was placed on a stop payment. Where was the oversight? Who is to blame for that? Are you going to blame people who were no longer in office?
When you use your resolve to make those ''people'' pay just make sure you include everyone, including yourself.

I Beg to Differ
The $10,000 check not received by I.R.S., was NOT on my watch. I uncovered the fact that it happened in 2000. Also $6,500 to Workman's Comp., $2,600 to State tax. I told Lee Quelette to call the bank and stop payment. There was $15,000 in checks not actually sent to vendors.
If the money was returned to the Village, it is a good thing because it wasn't there to cover the check.I was not even on council. Please get YOUR facts straight.
This is the kind of mis-information that got Watkins elected. Why didn't you and he tell the residents what he did? I know you will say you don't know what I am talking about. You should check into your candidates background before backing them.
If the resolution did not come to council to borrow $45,000, how did you object to it? How do I know and have a copy?
How can council be responsiable for not paying I.R.S., bills and the pension funds? The money was appropriated but then not paid. The ''reminders'' did not get to council and it was the clerks responible for paying these.
The way it is now, council still does not know it YOU are paying, they just have your and Linda's word.
You are so quick to blame me, what is your problem with blaming Russolillo, Hunt and Cain? The money wasn't there when I took office. I uncovered it was gone.
Why didn't you insist on finding where it went, instead of insisting it paid for ''other things? What things? I didn't see anything done in the Village to account for $100,000 being used for ''something'' else.
Is this what you would tell I.R.S if they ask you to explain your tax return? Is this what your company's accountant would them, as to why they didn't pay employee's withholding and pensions?
Of course I am blamimg the people not now in office. You would to if you believed in the oath of office.
