Authority Does Not Obey
The residents decided they wanted to know what happened to their money. That is why I was elected. None of you would do what the residents wanted. How is that giving them a say in what happens?
It is a shame that people lie to get elected. When I wanted to follow through on the complaints I had, no one would back me, after they ran on the platform to clean-up the Village Hall.
No one has done what the residents wanted for years. Until you do, don't say you work for them. You do it for yourself.
You stated how you feel about residents problems. ''I DON'T CARE.'' It is a shame that the residents of Valleyview don't read this sight to see the real you!
Where were you? The Halley's problem was an issue since 2000. Get with the program!

Have To Listen Or Voted Out

That would be your opinion. When I suggested that we look at one issue at a time you refused to work with me or help provide me the information that you claimed that you had. At that point there was not much more I could do. What I was hearing from the residents, and still hear, they want their police department and the safety it provides. They want a Village government working for the best interests of the Village, not working on their personal agendas. That is what it happening now that did not happen in the recent past.

That would be for your former running mates to explain. Maybe you were lied to by your running mates, but when you and the others had majority control of the Council and Administration personal agendas were followed and not what was in the best interest of the Village. Actions speak louder than words and the actions of your slate of running mates and supporters speaks volumes. Residents will have to be reminded of what you and the others said and what you actually did.

I am working for the residents and the Village. The residents want the services that their taxes pay for, not have them taken away such as you and the others did. I think the residents see who was working for thier own agendas and not what was in the best interest of the Village. Some problems that the residents face are not the responsibility of the Village. The Village cannot fix all the problems that an individual resident may face.

You must be taking a statement out of context, because I care about resident's problems, but those have to be weighed against the responsibility to the Village and whether it is the Village's responsibility for a particular situation. Each situation is different and you cannot lump everything together. If a resident has a problem or issue all they have to do is contact me. I have provided an email address, my home phone number and they can leave messages at the Village Hall. I do get out and talk to the residents and get their feedback. If there is something that I am not aware of it is not because I am hiding. The initative has to be taken by a resident. I will always do my best to represent the residents of the Village and explain why something can or cannot be done.

I joined Council in July 2002. To the best of my knowledge the Halley's problem was never brought before Council since that time to the present. I did not become involved in the Village government until late 2001 so I do not have any knowledge of thier problem. They have never approached me so how would I know of a problem?

One Issue at a Time?
The ONE issue I wanted looked into was the corruption of the former Village Authority. You would have nothing to do with it. You even wanted to make a deal with them. You don't make a deal with these people. You make them pay for mis-use of public funds.
You say nothing was said. How many time did Tom Watkins say he was tired of hearing it? Council went along with him. How can so many people be afraid of Russolillo?
Elections in Valleyview are supposed to be non-partisan. It is not really.
Why don't you tell the people what I said in my campaign, if they don't remember, and then how I tried to make it happen. I was elected because of what I promised. It upsets me that even when you were appointed, you did nothing. I did give you information, but your put your own spin on the law.
You are contradicting yourself. You say,''The Village can not fix all the problems an individual resident may have.'' ''Each situation is different you cannot lump everything together.''
I am not taking anything out of context. You stated about Halley's situation, ''I don't care.'' How much clearer can a person make their feelings? An ''individual'' votes! They expect to be treated as such when there is a problem. This was the attitude of Russolillo and Ed Kirk. It was stated at a meeting about Halley's. Their problem was the Village's fault. Dave Saylor's was the Village fault. These people had to fork out their own money to correct the problems caused by Russolillo's ''caring of the residents.''
I told you before, ''residents won't speak up about problems because they know who are still friends of Russolillo.'' Except for me, who would dare do anything to get him in trouble?
You and Watkins will always have excuses for Russolillo. I guess you have never been on the receiving end of one of him threats. There are good people who resigned rather then go against him in a court. I am not one of those.
Since I moved because of the threats against me, some may think I chickened out. I have not.
It is a dis-grace that some have allowed these people to scam the residents for years because they were afraid to speak up. Elected officials are supposed to be able to do what they can for the voters, instead of being threatened for not ''joining'' in the corruption.
Some people don't know where I got my information about them and will be surprised when these ''imformants'' have to appear in court. Good luck Watkins, you will need it.
