Good Morning! Here is your police report for Monday 3/14/2011…
At about 5:00am on Saturday morning, Officer Plato was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 600 block of Ruidosa. Officer Plato learned that a married couple had gotten involved in a fight. The wife alleged that the husband had got on top of her, choked her and threatened to kill her. The husband fled the scene when officers arrived, but returned once he thought the officers were gone. He ran when he realized that officers were still on the scene, but was apprehended a couple of blocks away. He was arrested to prevent further family violence and charged with Felony Assault/Family Violence and Evading Arrest.
At about 5:00pm Saturday afternoon, Allred observed three motorcycles racing southbound on the Winters Freeway, with speeds in excess of 100mph in heavy traffic. A few minutes later, the racers came back northbound in the same stretch of the freeway. Officer Allred was able to contact two of the three operators in the 4500 block of South First in a parking lot. These two men, ages 24 and 21 were arrested and charged with Misdemeanor Racing on a Highway.
At about 11:45pm Saturday night, Officer Allred was dispatched to a call of a disturbance at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Clack St. Officer Allred contacted a 28 year old male who was hiding in a closet at the apartment, and it was learned that the man had been warned of criminal trespass at the location just a few days prior. The man was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.
