Crime Report; 3/30/2011

 

 Good Morning! Here is your police report for Wednesday 3/30/2011…

 

At about 2:35pm yesterday afternoon, agents with the Special Operations Division contacted a man in the 1200 block of Harmony regarding a drug investigation. The man gave his consent for agents to search his vehicle and his person. The man was found to have a quantity of heroin in his pocket. This 47 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of Heroin.

 

At about 5:00pm yesterday afternoon, Officer Aron Bryan stopped a car in the 1300 block of Hickory for a traffic violation. A routine check revealed that a passenger in the car had a warrant for Parole Violation. This 44 year old male was arrested and charged with Parole Violation, original charge, Driving While Under the Influence of Liquor.

 

Finally, at about 5:45pm yesterday afternoon, Officer Hall was dispatched to the Mall of Abilene regarding a Burglary of a Vehicle in progress. It was discovered that a man was inside a car that did not belong to him, and it was determined that a lighter was missing from the car. This 47 year old male was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Public Intoxication.

CRIME REPORT; 03-31-11

 

 Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24 hours…

 

At about 1:10 A.M. this morning, Officer Hall stopped a vehicle in the 1400 block of Pine for a wide right turn. Upon contacting the driver, a 60 year old male, it was found that his driver’s license was suspended.  He was placed under arrest and charged with Driving While License Invalid.

 

Finally at about 2:30 A.M. this morning, officers responded to a call of a check welfare in the 1700 block of South 3rd.  The calling party reported that a 15 year old female was being held by an older male subject at this location.  Officers arrived on scene and located the female and a male subject outside the residence.  It was learned that the female was a runaway.  After further investigation the female stated that they had been using cocaine and having sexual intercourse.  The 43 year old male admitted to these allegations and was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault of a Child.  Further investigation revealed that there was also a 58 year old male who confessed to having intercourse with the juvenile also.  He too was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault of a Child.
