Citations re: property along RR

not belittling

I did not mean to come across as belittleing...not my intention at all! I am very sorry!

I never understood that what you posted as bashing either. You had a legitimate concern...no doubt about it.

I might add that it is now clear to me after reading the mayors response, talking with someone, and after reading city council meeting minutes, that you were indeed cited. You recieved a citation, not a warning as has been claimed.

Now the question is this a symantics thing going on here or what?
At this point in time the appearance to me is that the city council/code board used some poor judgement and tried throwing some weight around rather than use tact and common civility. Taking a short-cut maybe for expediency, and therefore unable to see the appearance of their actions.

Who gave the order?

Was it the City Council or the Code Enforcement Board that decided to issue the citations?

To be sure, if the Code Enforcement Board issued the citation, it is without merit and without standing due to the fact that the Code Enforcement Chair's own fence is out of compliance and has been for some time. Unless he has issued himself a citation for violating the Covenants of Orchid Place, by having a fence over 5ft tall, it is a mute point.
