teachers
your post is wrong!!! The teachers union cannot offer an opinion. The teachers are the ones who voted for that it was not the unions say at all!!! And i'm sorry how long did you say it took for an ''older'' teacher to reach $50,000. And I don't know what country you live in but an average family of 4 would be considered poverty level at $50,000. Considering the costs of daycare now the average family has to have one parent stay home because they cannot afford daycare for two children do you think teachers might fall into that catagory? Where did you get your info that teachers do not serve their country? That is just ignorance for a man that did serve! How can you say recession does not have an effect on teachers? Is it a written law somewhere that I am not aware of that teachers are excluded from what makes a ''recession'' You have no idea what you are talking about. My son is serving and has been serving for some time now so i absolutely do know what effect that has on families.
