Did you happen to catch the police chief of Philly on T.V. today? This may not be an exact quote, but it'll be close.

''Other countries have gun restrictions and at the end of the year they'll have 5 maybe 6 deaths due to guns. In America 100,000 people die each year due to guns, 85% of which are hand gun related. Rob a bank with a knife and people may get hurt. Rob a bank with a gun and people die.''

That's an expert opinion on the matter.

you telling me this? I'm not going to rob a bank. I'm not going to ''Philly''. I'm not even going to those other countries so I'll be safer. And your last line, quote, ''That's an expert opinion on the matter''.
The guy is a police chief, not an expert on much else, I'll wager. Like Rudy being mayor of New York during 911 makes him presidential material.
You just have no clue about government control and how it works.

because we seem to be at different end of the political stance in the matter of guns. I'd say being a police chief in philly makes him a expert on gun violance. Just the way 9/11 made Rudy an expert on how to handle terrorist attacks. (if there can be such a thing) In being an expert, if we accept his numbers, we can see America has about 99,994 more deaths each year than countries with more responsiable laws. Now you can argue guns don't kill people do, but the truth of the matter is the only differance between America and a country that has gun restrictions, is the gun itself. I say 99,994 examples of guns killing.
