Homey,
I have never been convinced that guns were created to kill (humans). Just like black powder and all other explosives before guns, 'ceptin' the A-bomb; or spears in the day; or bows and arrows.

I like to think that guns were created to protect and to forage; however there is very little factual info on the actual origin of guns; and even less on the intent of that first inventor.

Not really a right or wrong issue...it's just what we each are left to think...until someone can prove what was on the mind of that first inventor.

then why do schools teach about wars?
Homey-You like to claim guns are made for killing. Well, cars are made for transportation, right? So, why are cars killing?

actually it was

at one time an after school program. my pops use to take his 22 to school and keep in his locker. he use to tie it to his bike. educate, educate!

I must be sick or something cause I actually agree with you to a extent :-). Your right that we really don't know the truth to why guns were created. But it was possibly used to protect a individual back in the days. I'm not saying they should be banned, but there should be a lot more rules in effect to stop criminals from getting them. I have 3 young girls and I'm afraid that this could happen to there school on the future. So far there's been 20 or 22 school kids shot this year and to me that's way to high. Thanks for your opinion..
