Washington D.C. Murder rate in 1976 before a ban on all handguns was passed, was 26.78 murders per 100K people. in 2005 the rate was 33.6 per 100K people. 29 years and a 32% increase.
Yep banning guns really works don't it!
Or maybe we can quote a study done on russia during the cold war, even though they had a total ban on all privatly owned firearms, and effectivly enforced mind you, they had a murder rate among the highest in the world.
Yep banning those firearms really worked there too!
Oh and by the way the murder rate of the rest of the US, in cities of more than 100K people was only 5.6/100k.
James Madison the author of our constitution stated that the 2nd amendment was, is, and always should be an individual right, not a right reserved to the states. How much clearer to original intent can you get, than the words of the man who wrote it?

Has anyone else noticed that since Johnson's ''Great Society'' experiment of the 60's our society has been far from great? They banned prayer in schools, they banned corporal punishment in schools, they are trying to ban corporal punishment in the homes, they teach kids to tell on their parents if the parents ''beat'' them, not to respect their elders, Not to respect human life. And we wonder why our society is going to he11 and a handbasket?

That 2nd amendment is nothing but BS. Our government strips so many rights from us that they should just remove the 2nd amendment from the constitution.

Our government says owning a gun isn't a right but yet a privilege we have. Kinda like driving down the street. ''You get drunk and run over someone, but it's still your right to drive the car anywhere at anytime?'' Or what about all the things our government has banned already? Maybe I'd like to have a lion that kills less the guns, but wait someone made a law for me to follow and not let us choose at individuals. Open your eyes and see the US government has control over everything you do.
