the biggest problem as I see it

is that wellness policies like this(which is what I have to guess this is), are not always clearly defined or consistently enforced.

Non-smokers are also subject to second-hand smoke in lots of places.

I was amused and confused by his comment on firing alcoholics too. Does he mean an alcoholic who still drinks? Are recovering alcoholics okay? How does he determine who is alcoholic?

sexual orientation fit in? Religious preference? this guy sounds like he'd be a real dictator given the power.

Clearly a person's sexual orientation or Religious preference would effect their insuribility. This guy is stating if he can save a buck by not hiring and firing anyone who practices unhealthy life choices, he wants to do it.

There needs to be an out cry to stop this.

It's not discrimination unless a right is violated. Smoking is not a guaranteed right.

Did you mis-read your own post? **Employees** are profiting by lower health care premiums. The owner isn't the only one saving a buck.
