Oh, and the Friday talk shows.......get Toastmasters on there some time to count his uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, times infintum!! Him and Schwandke must have went to the same Stuttttter School of Broadcasting with M, M, M, Mel Tillis.............The Toastmasters would have to ring the "bell" so many times the high school kids would think they are getting out before noon..........That station is still a joke except Ron, Charles, and the new sports guy......Ramsey is great. And the Toyota Teacher of the Month. They should run it for a MONTH.

The thing that always amuses me the most as well as disturbs me the most is that the newscasters and other very often mispronounce the names of world and local leaders.  I mean how hard is it to pronounce someone's name correctly, especially if they are a prominent figure?  Additionally, some of the on-air people wouldn't know what proper grammar was if it cam up and bit them on the A$$.  That Craine (sic) guy doesn't even speak English as far as I'm concerned and acts like he just fell of the turnip truck.  One would think that people who use the airwaves would realize that they are also role models to some extent, and I think it gives Muscatine a bad image as well as shows young people that language skills are not important.

Gotta agree, sort of. I'm no fan of Craine's either but he carved out a little spot for himself so, more power too him. Anyway, there are a million shiny, chrome plated carbon copy stations out there but I find the back woodsy hick sound of the station familiar and comforting. I know, I poked fun at them in the past but, the older I get, the more I like the old, familiar things.

I think the music line up sucks...I do like some of the music played, and I get that it plays a little bit of everything for everyone, but the placement sucks.

Also the commerical ads are so stupid, really who comes up with these things and how could any business even approve it. I know that they are trying to add a little comedy to it but it is horrible, and it is not just one ad but a ton of them.

I refuse to advertise with them, because the old rep that we had screwed up my bill so bad it wasn't funny, then they tell me they are going to give me X amount of ads for free and then later I find out I am being billed for those ad's. So until Hoppy can get some real book keepers and some real good sounding people and better shows on there I wont listen to it or have any thing to do with them.
