I don't know. It's kind of cute to watch him on that John Deere. Reminds me of that scene in "Forrest Gump" when Forrest say, "... and because I was a bijillionaire, I cut that grass for free."

I mean really? Does it really bother you that he cuts the grass? I bet the CEO's of the large Fortune 500 corporations in town would be a team player like that.

And about his son setting everything up for him... in reality, John Schwandke is the man that made that station a great station, but the General Manager position there is now subject to the whims of a corporation that thinks it knows what you people want to hear. (They do have the money to investigate and do research and I'm guessing the programming you hear is what their consultants recommend.)

And I'm sure that Hoppi just loves that your inviting people to tune into his station. This small town trying their damndest radio station that you seem to hate so much. You ever notice the tuning button on your radio? It's there for a reason.

WTF..........Schwandke (money from Mama) made the station WHAT? It was George Volger that made it PERIOD!! and downhill from there until Captain Steve ...came along and THEN it went downhill. I would think that Hopeless (Hoppi) would be a GM with bawls would have some say about the format, etc. Both stations suck, oh, and going to another station to listen to...........still makes  Muscatine AM & FM audio pollution. Poster........if  all is good on the Farm House Hill, post what kind of ratings they have......hmmm. Oh, and Ron Edwin......the Larry Lujack of the pathetic AM side!!!! He is the only talented person in that crap hole. Oh, and cutting the grass, do you need a CDL to do that. Who gives a sh*t. Probably in job description.

And the Coffee Club-fest.........it is an absolute puke fest. Artsy, farsty, tee hee, have some tea, and a croissant with your topping of feel good bullsh*t. Get some resident from a homeless shelter to tell it like it is on the street. Tee, hee, haa, let's go to a quaint little bistro and avoid this subject. Afterall, this subject of homeless has never been addressed on KWPUKE, because "good things are happening in Muscatine" unless you are living in a car, DICK.
