Does anyone remember the Dixie Creme Donut Shop between 2nd and 3rd. on Walnut?  Best glazed donuts around at that time and still are the best today.  Also, there was an Army/Navy Surplus store in that block at one time.

I remember Ken's Pizza. Later it was turned into Mazzio's pizza.

Remember the Walgreens restuarant , Carmel corn and the Land of Oz at the mall?

For some of us that are younger.....after the football games everyone would walk to Happy Joes. (Walk...that's a dirty word to kids now days.)

I  had forgot about the old walgreens restaurant.......heres a better one...remember the days when there was more than 3 stores in the mall...and on weekends it was so packed. Remember when stores on sundays including the mall never opened before noon .

Until PnP came around i dont remember any place being open all night.

Used to go to the 7-11 to play donkey kong and get a big gulp almost everyday....

Anyone remember the pizza place on the corner of sycamore and 2nd? It was owned by the Zames family... Wasnt it jons pizza? or something like that... Good eats there!!
