This past weekend The movies "The Patriot" and "Red Dawn" were being run on a movie channel. Coincidental? Perhaps, but given the way our country is under attack by an oppressive administration, maybe it's a warning to act NOW. Just a thought.

Don't even go there, it's the most complete line of Bull excrement.  You can do better than this.

What a flashback!!  Old poster Joe used to use that same tired line....."You can do better than this"...on a regular basis.  And he used to like to tell us that we were wrong about things because we "just don't understand".

Ah yes....the good old days.

I also experienced a flashback this morning while listening to the morning news.  And it involved yet another member of the crew that you mentioned.  Old timers here will remember that during the Muscatine tornado a few years back, brother Dave bragged here about his tornado chasing experiences.  Most of us at the time thought him to be foolish at best, but he insisted he was doing good for humanity.  The news story today was very critical of storm chasers, especially the amateur variety....like Dave...who do nothing but get in the way of emergency personnel and actually slowed traffic in the recent Oklahoma storms, becoming a danger not only to themselves, but to other innocents as well.   It appears that there will soon be legislation developed that will make such lunacy a criminal offense under certain circumstances.

Wouldn't that be a hoot?  Tune into CNN and see Dave being hauled off in cuffs, his Aerostar minivan with the pretend radar unit on top laying crumpled in the ditch, Wal-Mart bags strewn everywhere, and him mumbling something about "It's Bushs fault".
