What difference does it make to you?   I'm satisfied with what I pay now.   They could increase it a bit for a good cause and I'd still be satisfied.

I think for what I pay in taxes, having a safe car and the ability to drive on a million miles of decent, safe roads to reach any place in the country is a bargain.

Beats having to hitch the team to the wagon by a long ways.

Happy with what you pay now and willing for pay more.

I have no problem removing undeserving people of government payment programs, but reducing my taxes has no effect on them at all.  That includes farm subsidies.

 

 

 

And who gets to decide who's undeserving?

I believe my post clearly stated that the IOWA D.O.T. gave no credit whatsoever to traffic camera radar and stop light cameras for the lowering of the number of traffic fatalities in the state. That means the liberal's plan did not work.

 

In fact, in Muscatine, a capitalist private company owns the cameras. Mallcontent read my post with quotes from a state official at the DOT. The layoffs and hiring freeze caused the engineers to work smarter with less fluff. I said nothing about their collective intelligence; but mallcontent is not intelligent enough to grasp what I furnished as proof of the simple facts.

Mallcontent/davieboy has no clue anymore what is happening with their collective heads in the liberal feeding trough/shitbucket.

 

You're still pushing your false premise that "liberals" are behind the traffic cameras.

Where is your evidence?   As I said, the ACLU opposes them and the ACLU has not been known as a liberal organization.   The Muscatine city government supports them and is not particularly liberal.   I think much more likely the opposite.   Nor, do I suspect is the management of the capitalist private company is liberal.   They are in it for the money.  The idea they might promote safety is only a sales tool to them.
