You are lying again. This post is about red light and traffic speed cameras. The underlined segments, as I previously told you, only have one element of government related to them. The rest are capitalism at it's finest. And with Branstad making the engineers work smarter; we have a win win.
How did Branstad do that? I know a few engineers and I don't think Branstad improved their intelligence.

You brought in term "bigger government" into the conversation. I'd be happy with just "government" . I don't care if you designate it "bigger" or "smaller".
Either way, government is still responsible for most of the improved safety.
If you disagree, tell us exactly what did the capitalists do on their own, without government regulations or encouragement, to improve safety.
Did they add turn signals?
Did they add the center stop light?
Did they add air bags?
Did they add seat belts?
Did they require better drivers ed?
Did they add the high back seats?
Did they remove the dangerous hood ornaments?
Did they voluntarily do crash testing and set standards?
Did they keep drunken driver's off the road?
Did they invent the drivers license?
Did they require drivers testing to get a license?
Did they set speed limits?
Did they set sight limits on highways?
Did they set limits on the degree of curvature for curves?
Did they do anything about signs and pavement markings?
Do they add salt on the roads when it snows?
Do they operate snow plows?
Do they put up the snow fences?
