New faces in audience
There were some new faces in the Auditorium at the last Board meeting. They did not speak publicly before the Board but I heard talking that they had met with District Administrators and some Board Members - building and grounds maybe??
Want more specifics ask Jeff Monebrake - he always has the school district first in his thoughts. Isn't he one of the many we have to thank for all the starter homes in Pickerington?

Other site is in the City
PLSD is building 3 schools - two at Refugee & Tollgate Roads & one in Sycamore Creek (in the city).
Currently Pickerington, Violet & Heritage Elementary serve children in the city & township - Sycamore Creek will be the 4th elementary school for city residents out of a total of 7 elementary schools. Where in the City of Pickerington is there additional need for more elementary schools or middle schools for that matter? The next elementary school probably needs to be somewhere south or southeast in the district.
If you look at a map, the furthest east elementary school in the district is Heritage - which is right in the middle of the district. With only 40% of the PLSD developed at this time, there is a need to put buildings where they aren't on top of each other - every school shouldn't be sitting in the middle of town. If you figure 7 elementary schools will feed 3 middle schools will feed 2 junior high schools it's not very realistic to ''assume'' that the new middle school will only be attended by kids in the township. One of the middle schools will serve 2 junior high schools. Just like the current 5 elementary schools feed 2 middle schools - elementary schools aren't pure by school (meaning Tussing feeds both Diley & Harmon).

I think so
Yep. All those $250,000.00 starter homes like the ones the mayor and the manager and fix and wright and wisniewski and whoever else bought.
