More reasons to VOTE for 9

Posted in: PATA
During the trustees meeting on 4/4/07, the trustees went into executive session to discuss the Snider Thornton annexation hearings. It doesn't say when the hearings were or are and what they'll do. Will they oppose them like they do with Pickerington or sit back and watch them happen? Has the Mayor, council and manager of Pickerington given up completely on these properties?

If not annexing is so important to Violet, why have they not asked Canal to sign a document like the one proposed to Pickerington?

In other business, they approved final plats for Peyton Ridge. No details are provided and if you go to the minutes of the Violet Township Zoning Commission, THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE!

As a side note to that, at the 4/18 meeting the trustees approved compensation to the Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. Once again, no details available on their website.

Also, it states there were no out of office meetings, so are we to assume that there hasn't been dialogue with Mr. Fix?

I also see there was 33 corridor meeting They were to attend on the 27th of April. Was the city of Pickerington there? If so are there minutes available?

Probably a good thing to Vote YES on 9 until Violet takes a public position with Canal and others. If they ever will.

Are they suing?

What justification would Violet Township Trustee have in going into an executive session to talk about the Snider Property unless they plan to sue Canal Winchester. The three issues that executive sessions are used for are land acquisitions, personnel issues, and pending law suits. The only issue that would qualify here would be a law suit with someone.

Public Relations Pow Wow

It'll be fun to sit back and watch. The three trustee ring circus is under way.

Now watch as I put the my head in the lion's mouth.

Are they going to the feds?

I am hearing they are heading to the US Supreme court and they are going to spend $300,000 just to file the case. Remember that the Snider Thornton case was decided by the Ohio Supreme court. Are they appealing that decision to the feds?

Isn't time to reign in these trustees and our tax dollars?
