Let me tell the People of Pickerington that there are school officials that do have courage and that do have principles and they are not beholding to a special group within the school district. The bad news is they ain?’t in Pickerington.

In 1998 the Bexley School Superintendent was walking near the Girls locker room during a half time intermission. He heard the GIRL?’S BASKETBALL COACH swearing to the girls on the Bexley team. He was fired on the spot. No investigation, no study, no nothing. Later at a special meeting of the school board this teacher was allowed to resign not only being a coach but also being a teacher at the school. They found a replacement coach and finished poorly in that season. If it was your daughter which team would you rather have her play for?

Now we have a second complaint from a parent that says in The Columbus Dispatch that this coach called his daughter a ?“FAT ASS?”. Of course the good coach who has won 6 state championships denies this. Are we running a Marine or Navy Seal booth camp here or are we in the business of teaching our young people about life and their future? If Mr. Butcher had called a woman that in a business his firm and he would have been sued and he would have been fired. I worked for a company at one time that did just that, when remarks were made by a male worker and he used the B---- word. If you have ever raised a teenage daughter no sport is worth that kind of public humiliation just for a sport. Fire the mouth that said that. Does that mouth stop those words once inside a classroom?

Stop one minute and think what this is all about. It is about Pickerington getting NATIONAL recognition so that not only players from other parts of Ohio want to come here, but it also sells houses to these Realtors that work the relocation circuit with these large Real Estate firms that do great business in the constant turnover of the local housing market. Who benefits with this coach? It is the developers and their hand picked toadies that they have financed and put into office with promises of high paying land deals after they retire from elected office.

Now the state is going to investigate. However they have not received the records they have requested. Even the school board in Pickerington and its administration are corrupt because they are probably in the shredder room right now sanitizing his official record. That is exactly what the City Hall did when asked for public documents referring to the $3 million give away of your tax dollars to these developers that then return these clowns back into office.

I think the state board of Education needs to examine the police records here in Pickerington and find out if the Great Coach has been stopped for DUI here in the city. I think the School Board needs to do the same thing. But he won 6 state championships. Don?’t you trust his denials?

I was in a local restrauant's bar one night and Randy was with several former students, at least I believe they were former students. Mostly female, but some males as well. Is this the way the Mayor, a teacher of our youth should behave?
