CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW MANY VOTING PRECINTS THERE ARE IN PICKERINGTON. TO DAY WHEN THE BOARD OF ELECTION CERTIFIES THE SCHOOL TAX VOTE, WE HAVE 5 DAYS TO REQUEST A RECOUNT AND ITS 10.00 A PRECINT, I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE APPROACH ME ABOUT REQUESTING A RECOUNT, THIS I WILL DO. ALSO I HAD A FRIEND ASK ME ABOUT A GARY BURKHOLDER THAT USED TO BE ACTIVE IN PICKERINGTON POLITICS BEFORE MY TIME HERE IN PICK. HE IS RUNNING FOR ETNA TWNS. TRUSTEE AND SHE WANTS TO KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT HIM SINCE HE WAS LINKED WITH WITH BICKERINGTON---BAD OR GOOD

As to Mr. Burkholder
At the time he was a councilperson for Pickerington, he usually took the opposite view of former Mayor Gray, Councilpersons Postage and England. Therein came the Bickerington. He usually sided with Councilpersons Shankland, Wilson and Ricketts.

recounts cost money
Pickerington has 10 precincts, Columbus 5 precincts these 15 are in PLSD. Violet has 18 precincts with at least one in Canal Winchester School District. There is at least one precinct in Liberty Township that attend PLSD.
I believe if you wanted a re-count you needed to have made that request sooner. The Board of Elections will be certifing the August 5th election results this week. You will probably be required to pay for that re-count since it was over the .5%.
You would be better served to work your butt off in getting the rest of the signatures on the Recall petitions. The sooner we get rid of the current council majority the better this community will be.
