Last year's endorsements


Last year the Times Sun urged voters to ''Vote NO'' on issues 17,18 and 19.

And later back pedalled when 70% - 80% of their readership didn't listen to them.

Mark just verifies we shouldn't listen to them again.

Uher support controlled growth

I am glad that Mr. Uher now supports candidates that are for controlled growth. Clearly it may have taken the Times-Sun to have pursuaded him but Mark is clearly placing all of his trust in this ''Outstanding'' paper.

Mark Uher now supports David Shaver for Mayor. A couple of years ago he didn't think that David would even get elected. He defended putting Craig Maxey back on council above David Shaver's objections. I am glad Mark now sees the light.

Since the two council challengers and one incumbent are not connected to anything but the Republican Club of Northwest Fairfield County, then I assume Mark now sees that the NW club was right in their endorsements before the filing date of August 21st, 2003. Because this outstanding paper endorsed the very same candidates that the club did before August 21st.

Maybe the NW club is right about a lot of other things also.
