Boosters Rubbish Reply

Ummmmm, Mark is the President of the Athletic Cup Boosters for North. If he is gushing so much over these two people and is supporting them so openly then I also assume his minions are doing the same.

No arguments about Smith by any means. He's full-fledged athletic booster supported but I see him finishing last in this race anyhow.

If Marcy knows all about Mark and is accepting his help anyhow then that is the typical ''win at any cost'' mentality that is not needed on our school board.

Ethics are important to me and I would never accept the help from someone as under-handed as Mark. I expect the same from the people I vote for but am typically choosing the lesser of two evils. This election is quite unique though and I think we have some great people to choose from for the city, school board, and judicial candidates.

Just my thoughts and impressions. That's the great thing about this country. We have the opportunity to vote and to be heard.

I'll throw my support behind whomever is elected to the school board and will let their actions speak for themselves.

Mark Uher has done absolutely nothing to demonstrate he is ''for'' managed & controlled growth except what he spouts on this website.

Quite frankly neither have the candidates he supports for school board.

I think the turn around on Shaver & the others is realted to the fact he hates to lose. 70-80% of us voted last year on measures to slow growth & the Times Sun had to back pedal because they went the other way and none of their readers cared - they did the right thing.

The voters will once again do the right thing on November 4th. Let the chips fall where they may and let's hope our city will once again belong to the voters. We have some terrific candidates to choose from - get informed and make good decisions.

Enough Bureaucrats!




I believe we have given career education bureaucrats long enough to correct our problems! We hire them - not elect them! We don?’t need Raymond?’s expertise or the experience she brings. How much experience does she have in front of city council??? (~~ZEOR~~)

In fact we haven?’t heard a peep from the Raymond camp until it?’s time for elections. Reade & Brink have been hitting the streets, banging on doors, fighting for real change - not some superficial strategy to get the next levy passed!!! These two are for US, not their resumes.

We need someone with the guts to go to the city council meetings and stand up to the boosters ( both out of control at this point). Can someone tell me why we?’re fielding two high schools teams in every sport and still don?’t have all the academic cuts restored??? It boggles the mind. Let?’s end the Lee Grey and Athletic Booster (read Mark Uher) influence in our public EDUCATION system.
