Mark is correct about 1 thing.
When we all vote this year we should listen to the SNP Times-Sun for a least the city council and mayoral candidates.
''The Pickerington Times-Sun believes residents should elect David Shaver as mayor, retain incumbent City Councilwoman Heidi Riggs and elect Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski to council.''
...
''Now, however, residents have made it clear it is time to chart a new course for the city and we believe Shaver should be at the helm.''

A correction for Mark.
Mark, I know how precise you are on wordings and such so I thought it would be best to correct something you said.
You said ''They had an absolutely glowing endorsement of Raymond. According to the outstanding newspaper, Raymond is the only candidate that can keep our school district at a 'high-achieving' level while at the same time 'keep the costs down for us taxpayers'.''
When in reality the paper said ''The Times-Sun believes she will be instrumental in helping the district draft and refine policies and procedures to keep the district at a high-achieving level while also keeping costs down for taxpayers.''
There is a big difference in ''... the only candidate...'' and ''... believes she will instrumential in helping...''
They said NOTHING about her being the ONLY CANDIDATE. While she may be qualified and from what I've heard a very likeable person she is not the ONLY CANDIDATE who can help our school system.
My votes are for Jim Brink and Lisa Reade. They both did a wonderful job at the PACC luncheon yesterday and I know enough about the both of them to know they will bring balance to our school system.
Raymond's glowing support from the athletic boosters is most troubling to me and is the primary reason she is not getting my vote. I just can't take the risk of getting another Sigman/Sanders onto the board.

Shaver, Riggs, Raymond, Vail, et
Both Homer & Mark are right. I am going to vote for the best candidates which are David Shaver for mayor, Heidi Riggs, Ted Hackworth and Brian Wisniewski to City Council. I am also going to vote for the best candidates for school board which are Marcey Raymond and Chris Vail. This time the Times is right.
